RIYKA in recent press

We have had some good coverage recently, but most importantly it has been about our ethical credentials. When we started out RIYKA we didn't set out to be an ethical brand, it was a completely natural thing for us to do, we lead an ethical lifestyle, we consume very little, we try and minimise the impact of our lifestyle on our surroundings, and when we do purchase/buy something we make sure that we feel comfortable with the product's eco standards. We can't tick all boxes but we try, and we are honest about that, and that's exactly what we strive to do with RIYKA. How to wear our organic canvas pieces?

The whole idea behind RIYKA is to create timeless pieces that will last you a very long time, that will be fun, and that the creation of them does not have a bad impact on the environment.  In every collection that I design I strongly consider the fabric before the design, and how it works with our ethos, so I was very excited to find this brilliant sturdy fabric, that is beautiful and organic, its more of an outerwear weight fabric, I have used it to create two staple pieces; an oversized sweater and a smock dress, both can be warn pretty much for any occasion, and almost all year round (if you live in the UK).
